Job would start in august with 28 hours a week hours are flexible.cooking cleaning help doing laundry and carrying grocies upstairs . most grocieries i order delivery but will need to go to get some groceries at hannaford or price chopper. also may need to go to pharmarcy in amsterdam . i also do have two cats . just incase someone has a severe allergy to animals i wanted to let it be known that i do have cats . also help with making beds and changing liter box. vacumming sweeping moping floors. i love cooking and baking but need help because cant stand or sit for long enough to do alone

Job Opening: After-School & Weekend Caregiver for 12-Year-Old Girl with Down Syndrome
Funded through the NYS RCIL Self-Direction Program

We’re looking for a kind, patient, and dependable caregiver to support our sweet and energetic 12-year-old daughter with Down syndrome. This position is funded through the NYS RCIL (Resource Center for Independent Living) self-direction program, and we’ll guide the right candidate through the enrollment process if needed.

Location: Sackets Harbor, Watertown area


Schedule:
• Weekdays: 2:30 PM – (after school)
• Weekends: Flexible (typically 4–8 hours/day; can be discussed)

Your Role Will Include:
• Providing attentive supervision and companionship
• Supporting daily routines and basic needs
• Encouraging safe, engaging play and activities
• Helping build communication and social skills
• Light snack or meal prep if needed

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children (especially those with developmental disabilities is a plus)
• Warm, reliable, and patient personality
• Ability to actively engage and support in a respectful and kind manner
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Willing to complete RCIL program requirements (we’ll assist you with this)

Compensation:
• Hourly rate paid through RCIL (rate based on experience and program guidelines)

An outgoing 45-year old women with Cerebral Palsy and is wheelchair bound needs assistance in the mornings 8am-10:30am with daily living tasks, bathing, dressing, toileting and transferring from bed and commode to my wheelchair and preparing some meals and doing laundry and cleaning my room. The position is for 20 hours per week at $21 per hour in Dutchess County, NY.

I am looking for a second worker for mornings/days. I need assistance with help around my home, such as cleaning, laundry and cooking. I also require some personal care, such as assistance with showering. Hours are flexible. I would prefer someone who can work a minimum of 4 hours per shift.

Looking for a personal care aide who is fun, energetic, and patient to care for my intellectually disabled sister. All is required is an open availability and true commitment. She also enjoys the outdoors and festivities so it is highly recommended you do the same. You must also own a car.



Job duties:
Accompanying individual to outdoor activities
Planning events and activities with individuals immediate family.
Teaching individual life and simple educational skills such as: reading, traveling, shopping, cleaning, dietary recommendations, physical activity, and scheduling doctor's appointment or a transportation trip.
